WEN is currently working with 1984 Olympic Marathon Champion, Joan Benoit Samuelson, on the prestigious Beach to Beacon road race. This race has developed into the premier 10K road race in the USA after only five years. Recently, WEN has signed an agreement with Devine Racing to consult as elite athlete coordinator for their events. Devine Racing is a new company that has recently acquired the Los Angeles Marathon, Toronto Marathon, Salt Lake City Marathon and Las Vegas Marathon. In 2004 WEN became part of the development team for a new event "Ocean Drive 5k Run" on Miami's famous South Beach. The race has special marketing value as we will have a special competition between the various modeling agencies located in Miami. WEN has been involved in developing marketing plans for the dynamic "Spanish Market Place". Currently has consulted with the "Spanish Beisbol Network", the Spanish broadcast arm of the World Champion Boston Red Sox and is now launching a new running magazine for the Spanish speaking audience. At Global Athletics & Marketing, Mr. Barthlow CO-founded the Reebok Indoor Games, now the best run independent track meet in the USA. He was also instrumental in developing Mizuno's Ethiopian program which won two gold medals in the 2000 Olympic Games. Mr. Barthlow's passion for the sports keeps driving him to work and create new events in the sports. He is also looking to implement new ideas to keep events fresh and current for today's market
